Last updated: February 9, 2009 THE DISTRINGUISHED CLUB GOALS Administered by Toastmasters International (TI), the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) has a strong focus on educational achievement and club membership. The Distinguished Club Program is an annual program covering an entire Toastmasters year, from July 1 to June 30. At the end of this period, clubs will receive recognition for their efforts based upon the number of DCP goals reached during the year. DCP Goals The Distinguished Club Program is an extremely simple program: The more goals your club reaches, the higher the recognition for your club. There are ten possible goals that your club can achieve:
Track your Club's Performance Membership Requirement To be eligible for recognition under the Distinguished Club Program, a club must end the Toastmasters year (July 1 through June 30) with 20 or more members OR with a net increase of at least 5 members over the number of members it had at the beginning of the year.
DCP Awards Clubs that satisfy the membership requirement and have completed at least five of the ten DCP goals receive one of three DCP awards. For achieving 5 goals, a club becomes a Distinguished Club. For achieving 7 goals, a club becomes a Select Distinguished Club. For achieving 9 goals, a club becomes a President’s Distinguished Club.
