District 38 hereby requests nominations for District Leaders to serve for the 2021–2022 Toastmasters Year.
Are you interested in nominating yourself or another member for a district leader position? To be nominated, elected and hold office, a member must meet the following requirements:
- Member in good standing of a District 38 Toastmasters club that is in good standing.
- Meet the qualifications of the position. Download the District Leader Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Fill and sign all required forms.
All potential candidates must submit the following forms to the District Leadership Committee Chairperson no later than February 15, 2021:

General Information
District candidates can begin campaigning once nomination forms are received by the District Leader Committee (DLC) Chairperson. All candidates are required and responsible to follow all rules and regulations regarding campaign communications and practices found in Protocol 9.0: District Campaigns and Elections.
The District Leadership Committee will interview all candidates via teleconference and will contact all nominees to schedule.
Announcement of the DLC nominations will be made district-wide at TMDistrict38.org within two weeks of the conclusion of all candidate interviews.
The following District positions will be determined by election to be conducted during the annual business meeting on April 17, 2021 via Zoom (more details to follow):
- District Director
- Program Quality Director
- Club Growth Director
- Eight – Division Directors
